Work is continuing in a busy city road to fix subsidence issues after it was revealed the condition of the ground is affecting repairs.
Part of Earlham Road was closed on February 2, near The Black Horse pub and the junction for Heigham Road, to allow Norfolk County Council to investigate "complex" subsidence issues.
The work was due to finish on February 10 but there are issues with the ground in the area which is having an impact on repair work.
Those in charge of sorting the issues say a fix should be coming "soon".

A county council spokeswoman said: "Ground conditions are affecting the design of repair works to utility apparatus, we hope to have this sorted soon so works can proceed.
"In the meantime, barriers are in place to manage pedestrians and traffic to ensure the safety of all road users."
Earlham Road has been in subsidence hell for years, with the most memorable incident happening in March 1988, when the number 26 bus' rear end was swallowed in the sinkhole there.
