A city neighbourhood is in shock after police confirmed a dead body was found early this morning at a nearby nature reserve.
A police cordon was put in place along a Marston Marsh walking path in Eaton, off Abinger Way, with dog walkers and joggers being diverted away from the scene.
Three police cars, an ambulance and two ambulance support vehicles were seen around 7am in the cul-de-sac before a forensics vehicle arrived just before 10am.
Police confirmed shortly after 2.30pm that they did not suspect any third-party involvement and that the death was not being treated as suspicious.
The incident had left neighbours worrying about what might have happened in their usually "quiet neighbourhood".

Lydia and Karl Taylor have lived in Abinger Way for the last 30 years.
Mrs Taylor said: "I saw the commotion about 7am and the whole close was full of ambulances and police.
"It looked like something major had happened and the police had shut the lane off to the left and were turning people away.
"You don't expect this sort of thing to happen here - it's a nice, quiet, neighbourhood and completely out of the blue.
"We're shocked honestly."
Mr Taylor added: "We've never had anything as serious as this happen before.
"It's a quiet area of the city so it's definitely unusual to see such a large number of emergency services here."
Stephen Spears, who lives next to where the lane has been cordoned off, said: "I saw the ambulances turn up and first of all I thought maybe someone had been found in the river.

"I walk around the lanes and fields and while it can flood a lot, I've never had any problems.
"It's such a nice area so it's not great to have something so serious happen this close - it's worrying."
Marston Marsh is a 64-acre nature reserve on the southern outskirts of Norwich, owned and managed by Norwich City Council.
