The body of a man was found at a nature reserve near Norwich this morning.

The area was blocked off by tape and a police officer at the entrance to the Yare Valley Walk in Marston Marsh.

Norfolk Constabulary confirmed that they were called to Abinger Way, Norwich at 6.38am after a body was found at the location.

Marston Marsh is a 64-acre nature reserve on the southern outskirts of Norwich, owned and managed by Norwich City Council.

Emergency services, including the ambulance attended, and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

There is no indication of third party involvement and the death is not believed to be suspicious.
