A pair of hit West End musicals are set to delight audiences at Norwich Theatre Royal in April 2024.
First up is Calendar Girls from April 2 to 6 and it is based on the 2003 film of the same name, which in turn is based on a true story.
Following the death of a much-loved husband, a group of ordinary women in a small Yorkshire Women's Institute create a nude calendar to raise money for charity.

An all-star cast will bare it all in Norwich including Laurie Brett (EastEnders), Helen Pearson (Hollyoaks), Samantha Seager (Coronation Street) and Maureen Nolan (The Nolans).
Tim Firth and Gary Barlow created the show and it ran at London's Phoenix Theatre in 2017.
Next is Jesus Christ Superstar from April 8 to 13, which has played on Broadway and the West End several times since its premiere in 1971, with music and lyrics by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice.

The show is set against the backdrop of an extraordinary series of events during the final weeks of the life of Jesus Christ, as seen through the eyes of Judas.
It features songs such as I Don’t Know How to Love Him, Gethsemane and Superstar, with West End actor Ian McIntosh in the title role.
