A new takeaway specialising in fried and rotisserie chicken dishes has opened in a north Norwich street.
Maher Ben Elwaer, 37, has opened Chicken Deluxe in Catton Grove Road.
Maher has run successful businesses before and has moved on from running a butchery and grocery shop to the takeaway business.
"I have worked in kitchens before and am really enjoying it," said Maher.
"We are getting fantastic reviews and have had quite a few returning customers, so it is really going in the right direction.
"One customer came in to order a takeaway and then came back on the same day with some more people as he enjoyed his food so much.
"It seems that we are giving KFC a run for its money!"

Everything is cooked fresh on the site, with Maher doing a lot of the butchery himself, given his experience running a butchers.
The spit roast chicken cooked on a rotisserie machine is one of the most popular menu items, and customers can purchase a whole, a half or a quarter chicken cooked in this way.
Maher described this way of cooking chicken as a "pillar of north African cuisine" and a style of food that he grew up eating in Tunisia.

There is also fried and grilled chicken and a range of kebabs, including chicken shwarma and doner, on the menu, which are all served with chips.
Maher raved about the chef that he hired, attributing some of the "amazing reviews" to their previous experience in the kitchen.
"It definitely beats cooking a Sunday roast," he laughed.
The business is open every day between 2pm and 11pm, with discounts available to those who order over the phone.
