From children's books adapted into plays to a West End musical, plenty of fantastic family shows are heading to Norwich Theatre venues.
This is what you have to look forward to for the rest of 2024 at the Theatre Royal, Playhouse and Stage Two.
1. In the Dead of the Night, Stage Two
When: April 5
Price: £10-£12, ages 3+
Escape the real world with your little ones to a place where fantastical creatures and monsters hide in the dark.
Arthur McBain's book has been transformed into a whimsical adventure on stage as Lily braves the noises she hears in the middle of the night.
2. There's a Monster In Your Show, Playhouse
When: April 18-19
Price: £14.50-£16.50, ages 2+
Tom Fletcher's interactive adventures for big imaginations are leaping from page to stage as the beloved 'Who's in Your Book?' series debuts as a new musical.
A group of performers are preparing to start their show but quickly discover they are not alone on stage - Little Monster wants to be part of the fun too!

3. The Boy at the Back of the Class, Theatre Royal
When: April 23-27
Price: £10-£28.50, ages 7+
Told from a child's perspective, The Boy at the Back of the Class highlights the power of friendship and kindness in a world that does not always make sense.
Balancing heart and humour, it reminds us that everyone needs a place to call home.
4. Dear Zoo, Playhouse
When: May 2-5
Price: £13.50-£15.50, ages 2+
Rod Campbell's much-loved book has been a firm favourite with children and parents for 40 years.
His distinctive illustrations leap from the page in this colourful show packed full of puppetry, songs and, of course, all the animals from the zoo.
5. Ten in the Bed, Stage Two
When: May 26
Price: £8-£10, aimed at ages 3-8
For Naz and Iggy and their eight friends, their bed is a place where imagination can fill their tummies with tasty treats and take them to familiar warm places. Well, sometimes.
Ten in the Bed sensitively explores the child refugee experience, where the power of invention offers an escape from reality.

6. There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly, Playhouse
When: June 1-2
Price: £13.50-£15
The People’s Theatre Company presents a magical retelling of Pam Adams' children's book There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed A Fly.
Expect a captivating combination of live-action, animation and puppetry.
7. The Lion Inside, Playhouse
When: June 21-22
Price: £16, ages 3+
A heart-warming tale about confidence, self-esteem and a shy little mouse who sets out on a journey to find his roar.
The show is based on the best-selling story by Rachel Bright and Jim Field.
8. Bluey's Big Play, Theatre Royal
When: July 23-25
Price: £10-£25.50, all ages welcome, free for children aged 18 months and under
Bluey’s Big Play is a new theatrical adaptation of the Emmy award-winning children’s television series, featuring large puppets.
When Dad feels like a little bit of Sunday afternoon time out, Bluey and Bingo have other plans.

9. Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Theatre Royal
When: September 24-29
Price: £10-£58.50
In this hit musical, absent-minded inventor Caractacus Potts restores a broken-down racing car with the help of his children Jemima and Jeremy.
Soon the family discovers that the car has magical powers and, along with Truly Scrumptious, they go on an adventure to faraway lands.
Emmerdale's Liam Fox and West End star Adam Garcia will play Grandpa Potts and Caractacus Potts, respectively.
