A chart-topping 80s popstar and a former EastEnders actress have been announced for a new British musical heading to Norwich.
NOW That’s What I Call A Musical is coming to Norwich Theatre Royal from October 1 to 5 2024.
It has been written by comedian Pippa Evans and directed and choreographed by Strictly's Craig Revel Horwood.

It will celebrate 40 years of the compilations brand NOW That’s What I Call Music and you can expect hits from Whitney Houston, Wham! Blondie, Tears For Fears, Spandau Ballet and much more.
It is set in Birmingham in 1989 and school friends Gemma and April are busy planning their lives based on Number One magazine quizzes as they dream of snogging Rick Astley.
Cut to Birmingham in 2009 and the most dreaded event of their lives – the school reunion.

Nina Wadia will star as Gemma and she is best known for the sketch show Goodness Gracious Me and playing Zainab Masood in EastEnders.
80s popstar Sinitta, whose hits include So Macho and Toy Boy, will be a special guest in Norwich and sing the songs that made her a "NOW icon".
