Mousehold View care home celebrated World Book Day with a Mad Hatter's Tea Party.
The residential facility, specialising in dementia care and respite stays, hosted a day of book-themed activities for its residents, relatives, and community friends.
Activities coordinator, Emily Parden said: “I know a lot of school’s celebrate the day and we wanted to ensure the day was celebrated here at the home too for our residents.”
Activities on the day included quizzes and discussions about residents' favourite books and authors, concluding with the tea party prepared by Chef Marius and his hospitality team.
Fresh tea was served in apt mis-matching China cups and the home’s staff really got into the spirit donning some themed costumes.
Resident, Molly Norton said, “I really do love it here at Mousehold View and a big thank you to the team for such a super day.
"It has been great”
Mousehold View is located on Mousehold Lane and has been voted the best care home in Norwich, Norfolk and the entire East of England within five months of opening.
