A man has been arrested after a Ferrari crashed outside a city bar.
Police were called to Rose Lane near Rooftop Gardens in the city centre at 4.58pm on Sunday.
The road was closed for an hour and a half while emergency services attended the scene.
The driver, a man in his 40s, was arrested on suspicion of breaching his court-imposed bail conditions and taken to Wymondham Police Station for questioning, where he remains.
CCTV video has shown the Italian sportscar crashing into a bike rack on the pavement before being left damaged in the middle of the road.
Several parts of the vehicle were badly damaged and the airbag went off, however, no one was injured.
A crowd of onlookers gathered after the crash happened where one eyewitness said: "If it's not a write off I'd be really surprised."
