City folk have been left fuming as hundreds of homes are plagued by internet connectivity problems - forcing a health centre to close.
The issues have caused major disruption for homeworkers and have seen shops have to turn away card payments.
A vehicle crashing into a BT Openreach junction box at the junction of St Williams Way and Thunder Lane last Monday is believed to be the source of the disruption in Thorpe St Andrew.
"It's very frustrating," said Victoria Holland, 40, who has been told by BT that work should be completed today to restore normal service.
"Those working from home are struggling to perform their jobs," said Victoria.
"The local Co-op is having to accept cash-only payments at times."
Thorpe Health Centre had to close on Friday and remains closed for clinical services, with many people having appointments cancelled or moved.
An East Norwich Medical Partnership spokesman said: "Thorpe Health Centre has worked to ensure that patient care is not disrupted by the recent internet issues affecting the Thorpe area.
"Clinical services have been moved to the practice’s main site at Sprowston and will continue to be delivered there until the internet issues are resolved.

"Patients with pre-existing appointments at Thorpe Health Centre have been contacted and offered an appointment at Sprowston or the option to reschedule.
"Clinical services will resume at Thorpe Health Centre as soon as the internet issues are resolved."
However, Victoria has said that there is no end to the internet outage in sight.

"BT and my own provider, Sky, have been working to restore service but have not provided clear communication about the repair progress or expected restoration time," she said.
"While BT has managed to provide intermittent service using a backup power source, the instability and unreliability of the connection have not been sufficient for the needs of our community."
BT Openreach did not respond to a request for clarification.
