An award-winning Norwich venue has announced its latest afternoon tea theme and it celebrates the city's tasty history.
The Chocolate Factory Afternoon Tea will be available at The Assembly House in Theatre Street from April 8 to June 30 2024.
A spokesperson for the venue said: "Our newest afternoon tea takes Norwich back to the days when the air around Chapelfield was scented with chocolate, when thousands of people worked on the production floors of the factory next door to The Assembly House and the city was famous for producing many of the country’s best-loved chocolates.
"Rolos, Caramac, Quality Street, Weekend, Yorkies, Munchies, Fortune, Good News, toffees, fudge, Marching Chocolate, millions upon millions of Easter eggs: Norwich really was the delicious chocolate capital of England."
