A city footbridge and cycleway will be closed for repairs next week.
From Monday, April 8, to Friday, April 12, the Hall Road footbridge and Lakenham Way cycle path beneath it will be closed.
The bridge needs to be closed so the old plywood deck can be replaced and Lakenham Way will be shut for safety reasons during the day while works take place overhead.
The work has been scheduled to take place during the school holidays to help reduce disruption for pupils travelling to and from local schools.

Cyclists and pedestrians will be diverted on to the road bridge via the current crossing points.
Both pedestrians and cyclists will still be able to use the signed ramps to get on and off Lakenham Way.
The work will cost £38,000 and is being carried out by Norfolk County Council’s Community and Environmental Services Department and its contractors Tarmac.
