A new canary-themed mystery game that turns the streets of Norwich into a giant escape room has been released.
The award-winning Mystery Guides company has created a new quest in which amateur sleuths have to solve clues and track down a famous lost canary somewhere in the city.
The Mystery of the Stolen Canary combines puzzles, history and outdoor adventure as a newly discovered diary reveals clues as to the whereabouts of a prized bird that disappeared 250 years ago.

Mystery Guides is the brainchild of Jack Wells, a historian-turned-entrepreneur with a love for puzzles.
Mr Wells said: "Participants read maps, unravel clues, decode symbols, decipher cryptic messages and follow a trail that leads to the truth all while enjoying a fact-filled tour of the city and discovering its amazing history and secret hidden gems.
"They are then rewarded with an amazing ‘wow’ moment when the case is solved and the canary is finally discovered."
The adventure takes three hours to complete with just under two miles of walking, including stop-offs in two historic pubs.
The Mystery of the Stolen Canary is available to order via mysteryguides.co.uk and is priced at £19.99.
