A man on the run from police for months was caught after breaking into a Norwich store.
Kyle Cross, 47, had been wanted for a violent domestic incident but had evaded capture since last November.
The law finally caught up with him after he was arrested fleeing from the scene of a break-in at the Co-Op shop on Unthank Road on April 4.
Norwich Magistrates’ Court was told he was found with stolen alcohol and tobacco and he and another man had forced open the store roller shutters and locked display cabinets with a shovel.

Josephine Jones, prosecuting, said more than £6,000 of damage had been caused.
Cross pleaded guilty to entering as a trespasser in order to steal.
He also admitted sending hundreds of threatening text messages to a former partner including threatening to stab her in the neck.
However, he denied criminal damage by ransacking her flat and forcing violent entry to a property in Bell Court on November 11.
He will stand trial at Great Yarmouth Magistrates Court on May 13.
Magistrates denied a bail application and remanded him in prison. He will stand trial at Great Yarmouth Magistrates Court on May 13.
