A man has been jailed for carrying a knife in Norwich.
Stephen Grey, aged 39 and of Lound Road, Norwich, appeared at Norwich Magistrates Court yesterday where he pleaded guilty to possession of a knife in a public place.
In the early hours of Tuesday, officers were driving along Dereham Road where they spotted Grey who was wanted on recall to prison.

He was detained and following a search was found carrying a folding lock knife.
He was arrested and taken to Wymondham police station for questioning and later charged and remanded into custody.
Grey received a sentence of 26 weeks in prison and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £154.
