There is no need to travel to London, as a whole host of West End musicals are heading to Norwich Theatre Royal in 2025.
1. Only Fools & Horses the Musical
When: January 13-18
Based on the hit sitcom, Only Fools & Horses the Musical is touring the UK and Ireland following a four-year West End run.
It includes the much-loved characters Del Boy, Rodney, Grandad, Cassandra, Raquel, Boycie, Marlene, Trigger, Denzil, Mickey Pearce, Mike the Barman and the Driscoll Brothers.
2. Hairspray
When: February 10-15
Join Tracy Turnblad and her new friends as they strive to change the world in this feel-good musical.
Strictly Come Dancing's Joanne Clifton stars as TV producer Velma Von Tussle.
Hairspray is bursting with show-stopping numbers, including Welcome To The 60s, You Can't Stop The Beat and Good Morning Baltimore.
3. Kinky Boots
When: March 4-8
The latest production of this smash-hit show stars Strictly sensation Johannes Radebe as drag queen Lola.
When shoe factory owner Charlie Price (Dan Partridge) meets Lola, her unsteady heels might just hold the answer to save his struggling business.
The music and lyrics in Kinky Boots are by Cyndi Lauper.

4. Calamity Jane
When: April 8-12
Whip crackin’ musical Calamity Jane is coming to Norwich Theatre Royal next spring.
Based on the much-loved Doris Day film, it stars award-winning West End actress and singer Carrie Hope Fletcher (Cinderella, Les Misérables) in the title role.
5. Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
When: April 30-May 10
Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat will embark on a major nationwide tour in 2025.
The musical has had multiple runs on the West End and Broadway and it features songs such as Any Dream Will Do and Close Every Door.
6. Dear Evan Hansen
When: May 13-17
This Olivier, Tony and Grammy award-winning musical follows anxious high school kid Evan who wants nothing more than to fit in.
Songs from the hit show include You Will Be Found, For Forever and Waving Through a Window.

7. Chicago
When: July 14-19
Set amid the razzle-dazzle decadence of the 1920s, Chicago tells the story of Roxie Hart who murders her on-the-side lover after he threatens to walk out on her.
She hires Chicago’s slickest criminal lawyer to transform her malicious crime into a barrage of sensational headlines.
8. The Rocky Horror Show
When: July 28-August 2
The Rocky Horror Show is the story of two squeaky clean college kids – Brad and his fiancée Janet.
When their car breaks down outside a creepy mansion they meet the charismatic Dr Frank’n’Furter, played by Jason Donovan.
It is a weird and wonderful adventure that they will never forget.
9. The Book of Mormon
When: August 19-30
Smash-hit Broadway and West End musical comedy The Book of Mormon is returning to Norwich by popular demand.
It follows the misadventures of a mismatched pair of missionaries, sent on a mission to a place that is about as far from Salt Lake City as you can get.
10. Hamilton
When: September 16-October 25
The multi-award-winning Hamilton, with book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, will play a six-week season at Norwich Theatre Royal next autumn.
The musical tells the story of American founding father Alexander Hamilton, with a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, R&B and Broadway.
