A rocking music event has taken place at one of Norwich's well-known music venues.
The Brickmakers pub in Sprowston Road hosted the charity music day for Brain Tumour Research on Saturday.
All bands that participated have been personally affected by brain tumours and were giving their time for free.
Among those who took to the stage were the Glamtastics, the Avi80rs and Addictive Mix, whose members have all lost colleagues or undergone tumour treatment.
Claire Brooks, co-owner of The Brickmakers, said: “My husband, Dale, took over as lead singer with the Glamtastics in 2010 when Mat, the former frontman, was no longer able to continue due to treatment for his brain tumour.
"Sadly, Mat has since passed away.
“It’s an event I wanted to arrange, not only in memory of those who have passed away but for those living because new treatments and earlier diagnoses will help improve survival rates in the future.”
Brain tumour patient Kerri Parker, a Norwich model who co-founded the event, has raised more than £20,000 for the charity.

The 40-year-old, who has now been told her tumour has progressed to grade four and is terminal, said: “Working on this event has been really exciting as it’s for a cause close to my heart."
Charlie Allsebrook, community development manager for Brain Tumour Research, said: "Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer, yet just 1pc of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to brain tumours since records began in 2002.
“We’re determined to change this but we can’t do it alone."
