The wait is almost over as the opening date has been revealed for a Scandinavian homeware store in Norwich.
Danish retailer Søstrene Grene was founded in 1973 and it has more than 275 stalls across 16 countries.
Earlier this year, the brand unveiled plans for East Anglia's first branch in Norwich, which was met with widespread excitement.

It will be located at 15-17 London Street, which is the former home of Jarrolds Intersport and the Canaries Fan Hub.
Søstrene Grene offers an ever-changing assortment of homewares and hobby and craft items.
This includes furniture and interiors, home decor, kitchenware, party items, school and office accessories, toys and “mini home” products for children.

It also celebrates the Danish notion of ‘hygge’ – a special state of contentment, warmth and belonging.
It has now been announced that the Norwich store will open on Friday, May 10 2024.
Norma Jacob and Richard Power, who are UK Joint Venture Partners, run the stores across Northern Ireland, Scotland, the south of England, and now, East Anglia.
