A man arrested in connection with a Norwich assault attended by a number of police units will face no further action, it has emerged.
The man in his 30s was arrested after police were called following reports of an assault at Polypin Yard, near King Street.
Other emergency services also attended the incident, which happened at 5.15pm on August 15 last year, and a woman was treated for minor injuries.
A spokesman for Norfolk Police said the man arrested in connection with the incident "will face no further action".
Meanwhile a woman, in her 30s, arrested following the incident remains on bail.
The spokesman said the "investigation continues".
