A man whose life is being made miserable due to the behaviour of some neighbours is pleading with the city council for help.
Waldemar Szerkus has been living in Vauxhall Street for the last four years and has had to cope with constant anti-social behaviour in his flat block.
The 53-year-old said: "It's been an issue for years. It's so loud my walls are shaking and there will be so many people in there.
"It's making my life sheer hell and living here is becoming impossible.
"I've complained to the council and all I've heard is excuses - they've done nothing - and it makes me feel completely devalued and dismissed.
"I'm reaching my limit with it all and it feels absolutely awful having to try and deal with all of this."
It's not just doors slamming that Mr Szerkus has to endure, with abuse and drug dealing rife too.
He continued: "They often do their business in the stairwell which leads to arguing, fighting, threatening other people and leaving needles everywhere.
"They shout abuse at me and the drug use is constant."
However, Norwich City Council says it is "actively collaborating" to try and improve the situation.

A spokesman said: "The health and wellbeing of all our residents remains a top priority for us.
"We're actively collaborating with residents, police and local partners to address the conflicts happening in Vauxhall Street.
"Presently, a partial closure order (PCO) is in place at one of the properties, restricting access to all visitors.

"We strongly encourage Mr Szerkus and his neighbours to promptly report any breaches of the PCO to the police.
"Our commitment to assisting residents of Vauxhall Street in resolving these matters will continue."
The area is no stranger to trouble, as just this week Theodore Lynch was given a minimum of 22 years in prison for murdering 63-year-old Leslie Smith in Suffolk Square in October 2021 after a drugs row.
A police spokeswoman added: "We encourage any anti-social behaviour or drug activity in the area to be reported to Norfolk Police on 101 or via our website."
