A trio of hit West End shows are coming to Norwich Theatre Royal in June 2024 and there is something for everyone.

1. Grease, June 3-8

After a whirlwind summer romance, leather-clad Danny (Marley Fenton) and girl-next-door Sandy (Hope Dawe) are unexpectedly reunited when she transfers to Rydell High for senior year.

But can they survive the trials and tribulations of teenage life and find true love once more?

The musical, adapted into a smash-hit 1978 film, features songs including Summer Nights, Greased Lightnin’ and You’re the One I Want.

2. The 39 Steps, June 18-22

Follow the incredible adventures of handsome hero Richard Hannay (Tom Byrne) as he encounters dastardly murders, double-crossing secret agents and devastatingly beautiful women.

This hit play sees four fearless actors take on 139 roles in 100 minutes.

Patrick Barlow’s adaptation of Alfred Hitchcock’s classic spy thriller ran in London’s West End for nine years, finally closing in 2015.

3. Everybody's Talking About Jamie, June 24-29

Jamie New (Ivano Turco) is 16 and lives on a council estate in Sheffield where he does not quite fit in.

Supported by his loving mum and surrounded by his friends, Jamie overcomes prejudice, beats the bullies and steps out of the darkness into the spotlight.

The cast also includes Strictly Come Dancing's Kevin Clifton as Hugo/Loco Chanelle and Sam Bailey, who won ITV's The X Factor in 2013, as Miss Hedge.
