A Norwich boozer had to shut up shop after staff COO-D not get an unwelcome guest to leave.
The Queen of Iceni closed on Thursday evening as staff frantically tried to shoo a pigeon away.
The feathered intruder had entered the Riverside pub just as punters were looking forward to a post-work pint in the sun.
A spokesman for Wetherspoon said that they closed the pub due to health and safety reasons as they couldn't risk the pigeon being around food.
Thankfully staff members managed to bar the pigeon and the pub reopened an hour later.
The spokesman added that no pigeons were harmed.
