A fine dining restaurant in the heart of Norwich has shaken things up in time for summer with a new bar menu.

Chef Tim Irven, who also has Bun Box at the market, opened Boston House in Orford Street, off Timberhill, in November 2022.

It offers a la carte and tasting menus, with roast dinners available at Sunday lunchtime.

Mr Irven has now introduced a bar menu, which can be enjoyed indoors or al fresco on one of the tables outside the restaurant.

It includes snacks and small plates, with dishes such as braised beef croquettes, British charcuterie and cod fishcakes.

Mr Irven said: "We already offered a few snacks but this is our first specific bar menu.

"Customers are enjoying the new dishes with cocktails or wine and they can order as much or as little as they like, which is perfect for the warmer weather."

The bar menu is available on Thursdays from 5pm, all day after 12noon on Fridays and Saturdays and from 12noon until 3pm on Sundays, with no booking required.
