Foodies of Norwich are in luck this weekend as local caterers are pulling out all the stops to host tasty treats across the city.

From BBQs to burgers, here are five events for the food lovers this bank holiday.

1. Don Txoko pop up at Redwell Brewery

Don Txoko is bringing the smoke to Redwell Brewery this bank holiday, bringing flavours from Spain and Argentina to an open fire in the beer garden. 

Chefs from the St Benedicts Street restaurant will be cooking the likes of dry-aged steak, Iberico pork, chorizo and veggie options until they run out.

2. Bodega BBQ at The Plough

Where: 58 St. Benedicts Street, City Centre, Norwich NR2 4AR

When: Sunday May 26, 12noon to 10pm

The Bodega is moving out of its usual spot in the market and setting up camp in The Plough's beer garden for a day.

To celebrate their birthday and the bank holiday weekend, they will not only be selling their signature New York-style sandwiches but also hosting live DJs and pairing up with The Plough to sell drinks.

3. Beer and cheese festival at The Brickmakers

When: Friday May 24 - Monday May 27, 12noon to 11pm

Price: Free entry/£16pp for beer and cheese-tasting event

The Brickmakers is celebrating the bank holiday in style with its weekend-long Beer and Cheese festival. 

The event will have live music and free entry with an option to pay for an exclusive beer and cheese-tasting event with Pete Brown. 

4. Bun X pop up at Barcadia

Where: 8-10, Prince Of Wales Road, City Centre, Norwich NR1 1LB

When: May 24 to 26, 12noon to 9pm

Price: Free entry

Bun X, based at the Micawbers Tavern in Pottergate, will be in the kitchen at Barcadia in Prince of Wales Road over the bank holiday weekend.

It will serve a fully planted-based menu of burgers, hot dogs and sides.

5. 2-for-1 burgers with Fup Burger at the Ten Bells

Price: Free entry, burgers from £12 to £21 

Every Monday Fup Burger offers 2-for-1 on all burgers from their kitchen at The Ten Bells, and this bank holiday is no exception. 

There are a range of vegan and veggie options, as well as classics such as the "Mother Fupper" and "Thug Lyfe".
