Leaders of a forest school and nursery on the edge of the city insist they have fixed issues flagged by inspectors after getting a one-star food hygiene rating.
Staff at Dandelion Education's site in Eaton were told "major improvement" is necessary regarding the management of its food safety after being visited by Food Standards Agency (FSA) inspectors on March 13.
Based at the Eaton Vale Scout Centre, in Church Lane, the site is part of Dandelion Education which was founded in 2013 and aims to provide "a place where children grow and flourish, via exploration of the natural environment".
Per its most recent Ofsted inspection, in December 2021, the daycare works with children aged two to six years old and has more than 30 kids on its roll.
However, leaders of the education venue insist they are confident the issues have been dealt with swiftly and that a reinspection will see it back to the "high standards" it is known for.

Emma Harwood, managing director and co-founder of the company, said: "We have identified and addressed the issues laid out in the report.
"While we accepted the points amounted to breaches, they were not so serious that the FSA felt any need to close the site down, due to the risk posed to the children on our site.

"Unfortunately, due to some issues with the paperwork it was rated as needing major improvement in the management of food safety.
"However, all recommendations have been implemented, we've requested a revisit and we're confident that Eaton Vale will be back to its high standards soon."
The site was rated 'good' in its 2021 Ofsted inspection, with the "passionate" and "enthusiastic" management praised alongside the "strong teaching skills" of staff.
Dandelion Education won two awards at the 2022 Nursery Management Today national awards, in the Team and Best Forest/Beach School/Nursery categories. It also has sites in Aylsham and Wymondham.
