From Miranda Priestly to Mrs Doubtfire, a pop culture-inspired brand has popped up at Norwich Market.

Cor Blimey has opened at stall 13, opposite The Garnet pub, selling clothing and gifts designed and created by business owner Ali Cottrell.

Mrs Cottrell, 41, studied textile design at Norwich University of the Arts in her early 30s, after following her passion and leaving a job in the oil and gas industry.

With the online side of the business booming, she wanted to do a pop-up stall to grow her Norfolk customer base.

She said: "I used to do loads of markets but I have had health problems in the last few years, which has meant I have been unable to do in-person events.

"Now I am starting to feel better I want to build up my local following again."

Mrs Cottrell added: "My products are fun and a bit silly - I want to make stuff that makes people happy and I am inspired by pop culture.

"The products at the stall are slightly cheaper than online and there are some new designs."
