A popular clothing shop in Taverham has announced the opening of a second site on the outskirts of the city.
Whispers Boutique, which has been under the ownership of mother and daughter duo Denise and Claire Harris since 2019, opened at Black Barn Farm in Salhouse on April 20.
"We've been pleasantly surprised with how it has been going," said Claire, 46.
"We have been really well received and Black Barn Farm is a brilliant location for us!"
Denise, 68, had been working at the Taverham store for seven years before the previous owners decided to sell.
"Mum has worked in retail all of her life and always wanted to open a shop," explained Claire.
"She already knew the stock and the regular customers at the shop.
"I've got 20 years of experience in hospitality.
"One day we just decided to go for it!"

While the Taverham shop sells a wide range of clothing, gifts and accessories, the Black Barn Farm site will have a slightly smaller offering.
"It's mostly gifts, bags, jewellery and accessories there," said Claire.
"We do have a small range of clothing, but there isn't a fitting room on site so we are keeping it minimal.
"We've made it really colourful and welcoming - and we are right in the doorway so people have to walk right past us!"
While the team has only been on the site for a month, the experience has been a "brilliant" one for the mother-and-daughter team.
"Black Barn Farm is great for small business owners," said Claire.
"Everyone has been really helpful and supportive, and there is such a friendly atmosphere.
"We love our little business and this has been a great way for us to grow."
Both Whispers Boutique locations are open seven days a week.
