A man accused of drink driving and smashing his car into a city business before fleeing the scene has been charged by police five months after the crash.
Shortly after 7pm on Saturday, December 23 police arrived at Pure Physiotherapy in City Road in Lakenham after a grey VW Golf crashed into the office.
The car was later found in Cyprus Street and shortly afterwards a man in his 30s was arrested.
His bail was extended four times but police have now confirmed the man is due to appear at Norwich Magistrates Court on Friday, July 5.
A police spokeswoman said: "Petrit Malo, 36, of Kensington Place, Norwich, has been charged with drink driving, dangerous driving, failing to stop after an accident and failing to report an accident."

Neighbours were "shocked" by the incident, with Norman Mann, 84, saying: "We thought two cars had collided to begin with until we went outside to see what happened.
"The front door, which has a big window frame, had been taken off and all the brickwork had come down around it."
Phin Robinson founded Pure Physiotherapy in 2006 and said he was "absolutely gutted" about the crash just before Christmas.
The 44-year-old said: "The damage has been done to our operations hub, where we manage a lot of our UK team from, so it's affected our ability to run the clinics.

"With all desks, monitors and structural issues caused by the crash, there's at least £30,000 worth of damage done.
"To be honest I'm absolutely gutted."
Police confirmed that no one was injured at the scene of the incident.
Pure Physiotherapy's Adelaide Street clinical services and its clinic in City Road - next to where the incident happened - are still operating.
The business has also taken on a larger office space in Rose Lane which it hopes to occupy full-time in the future.
