A whip-crackin’ Broadway and West End classic is heading to the city after a 10-year absence from the stage.
Calamity Jane will be showing at the Norwich Theatre Royal from April 8 to April 12, with tickets going on sale today.
Based on the beloved Doris Day movie, the new production stars the multi-award-winning West End actor and singer Carrie Hope Fletcher and will begin its UK and Ireland tour early next year.

Carrie Hope Fletcher is a three-time WhatsOnStage Best Actress in a Musical winner whose previous theatre credits include Cinderella in the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, Veronica in Heathers, Wednesday in The Addams Family and Eponine in Les Misérables.
“Calamity Jane is one of those roles that doesn’t come around all too often," she said.
"She’s action, romance and comedy all packed into one character, and I can’t wait to take on the challenge of filling her shoes.”
The production will feature all the classic songs including The Deadwood Stage (Whip-Crack-Away), The Black Hills of Dakota, Just Blew in from the Windy City and the Oscar-winning Secret Love.
