An air ambulance was seen flying over the city centre before landing in a park.
The yellow helicopter was spotted flying over Norwich Market and The Forum shortly after 1pm before landing in Chapelfield Gardens near the Chapelfield Children's Day Nursery.
As one of the crew members waited with the helicopter several curious children were allowed to look inside.
Two road ambulances were also seen parked outside a block of flats in Chantry Road behind the Chantry Place shopping centre.

A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: “We can confirm that we were called just before 12.45pm to a property on Chantry Road in Norwich.
"An ambulance, ambulance officer vehicle and the East Anglian Air Ambulance were sent to the service.
"As this was a call to a private residence, we are unable to give out further details due to patient confidentiality.”
The air ambulance took off in front of a crowd of onlookers at 1.30pm without any patients on board.
