The scheduled six-week refurbishment of an all-you-can-eat restaurant in the heart of Norwich has been delayed.

Cosmo in London Street had been due to shut from June 3 until July 18 2024, reopening on July 19 with a new look.

However, it will now stay open with the revamp starting at a later date.

A post on Cosmo's social media pages said: "Exciting update! We will be staying open until further notice.

"Due to a wonderful opportunity to enhance our renovation plans even more, we have decided to delay the start date of our refurbishment.

"We will no longer be closing on Monday, June 3 - this exciting development will allow us to upgrade your favourite Cosmo even more, ensuring an exceptional experience for you when the time comes.

"We look forward to seeing you at Cosmo! Thank you for your understanding and continued support."

The buffet restaurant chain is in more than 20 locations across the UK and Ireland and the Norwich branch launched in 2015.
