A city beauty brand has been named among the best in the UK as it heads into the finals of a national competition.

While it only opened in the Royal Arcade around two years ago, Juni & Co has been taking the beauty industry by storm.

The plastic-free, vegan and organic make-up brand is run by Madeleine White, who founded Juni & Co with her mum Suzanne in 2020.

Now, the Norwich-based cosmetic company has had a product shortlisted by CEW (Cosmetic Executive Women), a global organisation with more than 10,000 members, and will be heading to the UK awards ceremony later this month.

"Creating 100pc plastic-free make-up that you actually want to use is extremely difficult, so being recognised by the British beauty industry for our efforts towards sustainability makes it so worthwhile.

"We're so looking forward to the Winners Announcement Lunch in June, so please keep your fingers crossed for us."

The winners will be announced on June 28.
