A Canaries legend is set to take to the stage as more plans for a huge city Euros fan park emerge.

With the first Euro 2024 games set to kick off next week, Daegan Watts, one of the Earlham Park fan park organisers, has revealed further details about plans for the events.

"Grant Holt will be hosting a few of the England group stage games," Daegan confirmed.

"He will be there to hype up the crowd and for a meet and greet too."

Daegan said that further special guests have been lined up for the games if England progress to the round of 16 - but they will be kept a closely guarded secret.

As of Tuesday, around 60pc of the tickets had been sold for England's group stage games, all of which will be shown at the fan park.

"Tickets are still selling very quickly," said Daegan.

"We have got the space to open capacity further if tickets start selling out, but we are really happy with how popular it is proving.

"We also expect demand to increase further as England progress through the tournament."

As well as celebrity footballers as guests, local musicians Sons of Mark and DJs Gary Sulter and Harry Pearce will also take to the stage to help hype the crowds.
