A man accused of drink driving and smashing his car into a neighbour's garden wall is due to stand trial almost a year after the crash.
The crash, in Allens Lane, Sprowston, brought out many concerned neighbours on the evening of September 8.
A man in his 40s was arrested on suspicion of driving with excess alcohol before being taken to Aylsham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
Despite the driver knocking down a wall and damaging two other cars, no one at the site of the incident was injured.
The man in question has since pleaded not guilty, with a police spokeswoman saying: "Luke Hodge, 44, of Neville Road, Norwich was charged on suspicion of driving with excess alcohol.
