A popstar from a chart-topping boy band is heading to the city for a special guest appearance at a major summer event.
Duncan James from Blue will be a guest judge for the Battle of the Bands competition at The Royal Norfolk Show on Thursday, June 27.
The annual showcase promises an action-packed programme at the Norfolk Showground in Costessey on June 26 and 27.

Singer, actor and television presenter Duncan James rose to success as a member of the pop-band Blue in the early 2000s, which sold 15 million records worldwide.
He is also known for appearing on the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks, followed by more recent appearances on Celebrity MasterChef and Celebrity Gogglebox.
His guest appearance on the panel follows after his return from Blue’s Greatest Hits Tour in April and May.
Choir director and vocal coach Mark De-Lisser, who is best known for his vocal arrangement of ‘Stand By Me’ for the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, will also be judging.
The event which is run in partnership with the Norfolk Music Hub will take place at 10am at the New Noise Stage in the woodland area.

Tim Brain, Norfolk Music Hub strategic development manager, said: “Battle of the Bands is an exciting new addition to our Royal Norfolk Show performances and will feature a variety of acts that will perform in front of crowds and industry experts."
