A popular Korean eatery in the city centre has applied for permission to place extra seating outside.
Seoul Born, located in Orford Place, has space inside for up to 13 people which would be increased to 18 should the application be approved.
In the proposal, a 3.6m squared space in the street would be repurposed for three tables with an additional six seats running alongside the front window.
The tables to be used would be aluminium with wooden tops in a "bistro" style, in keeping with Seoul Born's current styling.

It would be outside from 11.30am to 9pm from Monday to Saturday and 11.30am to 5pm on Sunday.
The previous business that occupied the shop was Orford Plaice, a fish and chip shop, which also had removable seating outside.
Seoul Born was opened in November last year and is owned and operated by Junghee Park and Bongha Kim, who also runs The Kimchi, just around the corner.
It serves Korean comfort food, including bibimbap rice dishes and fried chicken.
