A person was hit by a train earlier today. This occurred between Chelmsford and Colchester and is disrupting our main line trains in both directions.
All lines have now reopened following an earlier line closure. However, there are still residual delays…
He added the incident is not being treated as suspicious and said a file will be prepared for the coroner.
Greater Anglia has said all lines have reopened but warned disruptions should be expected until around 11am, with delays of up to 30 minutes being possible.
