The owners of a new city restaurant were left shocked when a furious customer stormed out before ordering their meal.
Within the first few days of staff welcoming guests into First Draft Kitchen, one angry diner left without even placing an order.
Through a bad review posted online, the owners realised the customer had been disgruntled about having to order by scanning a QR code on the table.
Restaurant owner Daisy Larkan has defended the decision to order online.
"We are a small, independent family business with a different pop-up every month," she said.
"We have got to be efficient and affordable, and having a QR menu helps us react quickly to menu changes and also helps customers order their food and drinks at their own pace.
"We aren't the only restaurant in Norwich using this system.

"We did have some menus behind the bar - all they had to do was ask."
In light of this incident, Daisy and her husband and business partner, Dan, have made some changes to help make the system as clear as possible for customers, including an explanation of how to use the system when first scanning the QR code.

"We don't want to alienate people," explained Daisy.
Overall, the couple said the restaurant's opening weekend was a hit and was fully booked from Thursday to Saturday.
"There was an amazing atmosphere, with customers telling us how much they loved the food, drinks and interior," said Daisy.
"It is so great to see all of our hard work pay off and we can't wait for more people to see what we are doing here."
Those hoping to sample the current Mexican pop-up will only have until the end of June, as Tatenda Goredema, owner of Gochi Gochi, will be cooking an Afro-Caribbean menu at the restaurant throughout July.
First Draft Kitchen is open from Thursday to Saturday, with online booking recommended.
