Wymondham Tennis Club has unveiled its new purpose-built clubhouse.

The event was well attended by club members, Norfolk LTA affiliates, and councillors, as well as veteran members, giving the launch a community spirit.

On the same day, an action-packed tournament saw Mike Wonnacott and Archie Jones emerge victorious.

The event is part of a larger trend of growing club interest, with a fresh wave of more than 80 juniors joining coaching sessions since the recent appointment of coach Katie Brooks.

Club sessions are bustling, held on Tuesday and Friday nights, and Monday mornings, accommodating players of all skill levels.

The club further boasts three men's teams plus a ladies team, all participating in regular matches in the Norwich City League from spring to summer.
