A huge free summer event is returning with live music and street entertainment across the city.

Norwich Summer Sessions, previously known as Head Out, Not Home, is back for 2024 for another year of street performances.

A packed programme of open-air entertainment includes an eclectic mix of established local bands, regional and national acts, world-renowned street theatre and up-and-coming artists.

Celebrating its eleventh season, the summer festival series will run on selected dates throughout July and August in five locations.

Performances will be held from July 11 to July 25 on Thursday evenings between 4pm and 8pm.

This will be followed from August 4 to August 25 on Sunday afternoons between 12.30pm and 4.30pm.

The stages are at Hay Hill, Westlegate, London Street, Gentleman’s Walk and St Gregory’s Green.

Suitable for family audiences, festival guests can enjoy a range of music genres from folk and jazz to country and pop. 

A map with pinpointed locations will navigate people throughout the summer to each stage.
