5 car boot sales in the Norwich area you can visit

1. Arminghall

Where: Old Stoke Road, Arminghall, NR14 8SQ

When: Wednesdays, Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays (March-November), sellers set-up: 5.30am-9am, buyers: 7.30am-1pm (until 2pm on Sundays)

Price: Free entry, pitches: from £10

The Arminghall Car Boot Sale was established in 1987 and it is one of the biggest in the region, with space for hundreds of stalls.

The Autojumble and Classic Motor Show takes place at the site three times a year, with the remaining 2024 dates on July 20 and September 7 - see full details at arminghallevents.co.uk

2. Easton

Where: Easton College, Bawburgh Road, Easton, NR9 5DU

When: Select Sundays, upcoming 2024 dates: June 23, July 7, 21, August 11, 25, sellers set-up: from 10am, buyers: from 10.30am

Price: Free entry, pitches: £5 (some dates have free pitches, visit the 'Easton Carboot' Facebook page for updates)

After the successful launch of the Easton Indoor Car Boot in March it moved outdoors in May.

Enjoy burgers and other refreshments from the Grillz food van and buy fresh fruit and vegetables from Pounds Worth.

3. Harford

Where: Harford Park & Ride, Ipswich Road, Harford, NR4 6US

When: Every Sunday, sellers set-up: from 5.30am, buyers: from 7am

Price: Free entry, pitches: £5

This car boot sale runs year-round at a park-and-ride site on the outskirts of Norwich. 

There is on-site catering and regular fruit and vegetable stalls.

4. Sprowston

Where: Sprowston Park and Ride, Wroxham Road, Sprowston, NR7 8RN

When: Every Sunday, sellers set-up: from 5.30am, buyers: from 7am

Price: Free entry, pitches: £8 for cars, £10 for vans

This sister car boot to the Harford one also takes place year-round and sellers are urged to arrive early to avoid disappointment. 

On-site catering is provided by Café 502 and there are regular fruit and vegetable sellers. 

The car boot sales take place in Fitzmaurice Park in Thorpe St Andrew

5. Thorpe St Andrew

Where: Fitzmaurice Park, Pound Lane, Thorpe St Andrew, NR7 0UL

When: Upcoming 2024 dates: June 22 and September 28, sellers set-up: from 8.30am, buyers: 9.30am-12noon

Price: Free entry, pitches: £7, £5 in advance at tickettailor.com/events/tsatc

Thorpe St Andrew Town Council has organised car boot sales in Fitzmaurice Park, with the next one on June 22. 

There will be refreshments and a book sale outside the Town Hall, raising funds for the play area refurbishment.
