The wife of missing primary school teacher, Anthony Hill, has made a desperate appeal pleading: "We love you and need you back."

Mr Hill, who worked as a journalist for Martin Lewis' MoneySavingExpert.com site before retraining in education, was reported missing on Monday.

He had last been seen leaving his home in Plumstead Road East at 7.45am wearing brown chino trousers, a black checked shirt, a green coat and a yellow rucksack.

His wife, 36-year-old Kayleigh Hill, has shared a string of emotional social media posts as police and volunteer-led teams search the Mousehold Heath area.

"Anyone who has any spare time to help is so much appreciated," she wrote this morning. "I'll be out there today - we need to find my girls' daddy."

In another post yesterday, she said: "Please keep looking.

"Please Ant - if you see any of this please come home.

"It doesn't matter how long you've been gone just come home we love you and need you back."

Earlier today, investigators released CCTV images showing Mr Hill inside the Sprowston Road Co-op store just before 10am on Monday.

He was notably no longer wearing his green coat.

Mr Hill is described as white, 5ft 7 inches tall, of a slim build with short brown hair.
