A man has been taken to hospital after a fight broke out in a city pub during the England v Denmark Euros game. 

Punches were thrown while punters watched the second half of the game at The Woolpack Inn in Norwich this evening. 

An eyewitness, who did not wish to be named, said: "There was a commotion behind me as I was watching the game.

"He was knocked out on the floor for quite a significant amount of time."

Members of the public helped the man with his injuries while they waited for the emergency services to arrive. 

Four police cars and a team of paramedics attended the scene and the man was taken to hospital in an ambulance.
