Foodies of Norfolk will be glad to hear that the festivals across the county this summer aren't just about music. 

From locally produced produce to authentic street food, here are the food festivals you won't want to miss in summer 2024. 

1. Wymondham Food and Drink Festival

When: Sunday, June 23 from 10am to 4pm

Where: Wymondham town centre

Price: Free entry

The Wymondham Food and Drink Festival is returning "bigger, better and tastier than ever" to the town for its third year this summer.

Guests can expect live music, family entertainment and more than 60 craft stalls as well as hot street food, bakes and cakes, ice cream and sweets.

2. Feast in the Park

When: Daily from July 13 to August 29

Where: Holkham Park, Wells-next-the-Sea, NR23 1AB

Price: Free entry

From Thai dishes to toasties, this summer-long street food event is back at the estate by popular demand.

It takes place in front of Holkham Hall and hosts local food vendors such as The Bucket List loaded with fries and The Norfolk Crepe Company. 

There will also be an Adnam's bar. 

3. Ha Ha Farm Sunflower Sundowner

When: August 1 to August 10, from 5pm until 9pm

Where: Ha Ha Farm, Hemblington Road, Blofield NR13 4AH

Price: Adults £10pp, children £5, under-5s go free

Ha Ha Farm in Strumpshaw first launched PYO sunflowers in 2023 and it has since doubled in size. 

After a successful food festival and PYO sunflower sessions last year, the farm's owners decided to combine the two. 

Guests to enjoy the golden hour with live music, delicious food and drinks from local vendors while also picking their own sunflowers. 

4. Magic of Thailand festival

When: July 20 to 21 2024

Where: Earlham Park, Norwich NR4 7TQ

Price: Adult: £5 per day; Under 15’s free

This popular Thai touring video is returning to Norwich for 2024.

The two-day Thai Festival will be held in Earlham Park and let guests experience the taste of Thailand this summer.

Visitors will also be able to unwind with a traditional Thai massage, enter a unique eating competition and watch Muay Thai boxing.

5. North Norfolk Food and Drink Festival

When: August 31 to September 1 2024

Where: Holkham Hall, Holkham, Wells-Next-The-Sea, NR23 1AB

Price: Free entry

The hugely popular North Norfolk Food and Drink Festival is returning for 2024 with local produce from cheese to chocolate. 

The festival will host more than 60 local food and drink producers.

6. Street Party with Dick's Bar

When: July 14, 12pm until 6pm

Where: Street Party on Bedford's Street

Price: Free

Dick's BBQ will be joined by Take Thai, Brick Pizza, The Lobster Box and others for this inaugural street party in Norwich city centre.

The event will also host live music and is in partnership with Norwich retailers Jarrold's and Dogfish. 

7. The Foodies Festival

When: September 9: 12pm-9pm, September 10: 11am-9pm

Where: Earlham Park, Norwich, NR4 7TQ

Price: Day adult tickets start at £20pp for day tickets and £42pp for the weekend

This touring festival is returning to Norwich for the third time this summer and you will able to enjoy tasty food and drink, learn from top chefs and for youngsters there is a Kids Cookery Theatre.

There is also live music, with Symphonic Ibiza, Sister Sledge and Scouting for Girls headlining over the weekend.
