A man in his 40s has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a crash in Sprowston.
Police were called to Rosemary Road at 5.20pm on Sunday after reports of a single-vehicle collision.
A concerned local, who does not want to be named, claimed someone "could have been killed" in the crash.

"We heard sirens and saw two fire engines, an ambulance and an ambulance car at the junction," they said.
"My neighbour saw the car come down our normally quiet street at speed and had two damaged tyres so had obviously hit something.
"We have children and on this road on a sunny weekend day like this most of the local kids are out on their bikes and scooters, one of them could have been killed."
The man was taken to hospital after the crash before being transferred to Wymondham Police Station for questioning.
He remains in custody.
