Motorists in Norwich can expect delays as a section of the busy city ring road is to close for roadworks.
The roadworks will close Mousehold Lane from the Salhouse Road junction until the Sprowston Road roundabout.
The 0.7-mile journey would usually take drivers a swift two minutes, but the official diversion advises taking a nine-mile journey via the NDR taking approximately 20 minutes.
The work will involve a road rejuvenator being sprayed onto the road that will soak into the top layer to preserve the asphalt for several years.

Norfolk County Council claims this preservation method is better for the environment and value for money.
The route will be closed from 4pm until 10pm on Sunday, June 30.
A fully signed diversion route will be in place and a spokesman said: "The county council thanks people for their patience while this work is carried out."
