Police are hunting for a driver who got out of his vehicle to assault a man in the centre of Norwich.
Officers were called to reports that a male pedestrian had been assaulted in Exchange Street by another man on Saturday.
The incident happened at 2.50pm, near Jarrolds, when the driver left his vehicle, assaulted the victim and then fled the scene.
The road was partially blocked while officers dealt with the incident and the victim was treated by a paramedic at the scene.
A police investigation is ongoing.
