An Irish pub in Norwich is joining forces with Ireland's top drag collective for a special Pride event.
Pogue Mahon's, in Prince of Wales Road, is partnering with Mockie Ah to offer a unique drag brunch in celebration of Norwich Pride.
Mockie Ah, named one of Ireland's premier attractions by BBC One’s The Travel Show, frequently hosts nightclubs, cabarets and drag brunches.
Candy Warhol, who will host the events alongside Lucy Loose, said: "We are so incredibly excited to host these events at Pogue Mahon’s in Norwich."
She further highlighted the importance of celebrating the LGBTQIA and Irish community at such venues.
Lucy Loose, a member of Mockie Ah who lives in Norwich, also expressed excitement at bringing their act to the city.
The weekend will conclude with an after-party featuring city favourites Anna Action and Bishy Barnabee.
Pogue Mahon's owner, Aidan Mahon, said: "It’s always been important for us to have a wide range of events at Pogue’s and it’s extra exciting when we get to showcase Irish acts."
The brunches are set for the weekend of Norwich Pride, on July 27 and 28.
