A dessert bar nestled in the Norwich Lanes has been added to The Good Food Guide and it is described as a "local gem".
Figbar opened at 23 St John Maddermarket in 2016 and it is owned by pastry chef Jaime Garbutt and his wife Stephanie.
The counter is packed with treats and it also offers plated puddings and a four-course dessert tasting menu with optional wine pairings.
It is now listed in The Good Food Guide as a "local gem", which follows a visit from an anonymous inspector.

Mr Garbutt said: "We believe in what we do but it was a surprise that we were on their radar as we are small and niche as we just do desserts.

"Times are tough, but this confirms that we are still doing a great job and to feature in such a well-known national guide makes us very happy."
Figbar is open from 11am to 10pm on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, with evening booking recommended by emailing hello@figbarnorwich.com
