A Norwich pub has raised more than £20,000 for several charities.
The Garden House, in Pembroke Road in NR2, led fundraising efforts for causes including Salvation Army Norwich, Only a Pavement Away, schools and more.
The money was raised as part of Craft Union’s initiative Make it a Million, aiming to achieve £1m in charity donations by February 2025.
The Garden House team does not plan to stop at their current achievements, pledging ongoing support for various worthy causes.
The pub also collaborates with Norwich City Council, donating food boxes, treats and toothbrushes to 3,000 children during school holidays.
This followed an Easter initiative where it donated £2,000 worth of eggs, chocolates and treats to needy local children.
Landlord Jonathon Childs said: "Our whole trading week is built around being an important part of the community here in Norwich.
"We love to work with many charities, and it’s wonderful to see the student population do so much good work too."
Craft Union Pub Company, which owns the pub, raised £800,000 last year for various charities and plans to continue its community-focused drive.
